  • Minimum 10 books per student

  • 30% published within the last 3–5 years

  • Wide genre diversity

  • Digital texts, eBooks, and interactive media

 

Writing Center

A dedicated space for:

  • Drafting, revising, and publishing

  • One‑on‑one tutorials

  • Peer consultations

  • Workshops & seminars

  • Access to computers, writing tools, and publishing materials

 

Safe Space (SEL)

A cozy, student‑designed nook for emotional regulation. Equipped with:

  • Bean bags, pillows, stuffed animals

  • Mirrors labeled “How do you feel?”

  • Stress balls, journals, calming tools

  • Visual emotion charts

Students learn to:

  1. Calm down

  2. Identify emotions

  3. Choose healthy strategies

 

Collaboration Space

Large enough for 30 students, furnished with:

  • Cozy couches, bean bags, ergonomic seating

  • Standing desks

  • Writable walls, glass surfaces

  • Projectors, speakers, charging stations

  • Tools for global collaboration

Hallways, windows, and walls become extensions of the classroom.

2. Makerspaces & Fabrication Facilities

BLCE Makerspace (14,000 sq ft)

A DIY innovation hub where students connect heart, mind, and hands through:

  • Woodworking

  • Metalworking

  • Jewelry making

  • Sewing & garment production

  • Screen printing

  • Computer repair

  • Robotics & IoT

  • Digital fabrication

Staffed by technicians, student specialists, and experts.

 

Woodwork Makerspace (2,500 sq ft)

Equipped with:

  • Band saw

  • Planer

  • Table saw

  • CNC router

  • Drill press

  • Mortising machine

 

Garment Factory

Students sew:

  • School uniforms

  • Sanitary pads

 

Masonry Unit

Students repair floors, walls, and school structures.

 

Farm‑to‑Table Unit

Students plant, harvest, process, cook, and serve food for the cafeteria.
